Outside Sales Representative

Long Island , New York

This company deals with a range of increasingly complex and highly regulated arenas, including compliance and sustainability waste services, brand protection solutions, and customer contact solutions. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of sales. You should have demonstrated proven solution-selling experience and complex sales process skills, along with documented results of overachieving quotas.

Responsibilities of the Outside Sales Representative

Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste, and Compliance service solutions

  • Builds and sustain strong, trusting relationships with new and previously existing customers leveraging the face to face experience with a local subject matter expert and growing that business over the future with additional services to meet the customers needs. Motivated by success.

  • Strong prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business and sells regulated medical waste, OSHA and HIPAA Compliance solutions by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the products and services, as well as, the value proposition for customers. Result oriented with a sense of urgency.

  • Work in a virtual environment

  • Participate in market development activities by identifying areas/market within territory that are under-developed, and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and increase sales through new sales initiatives.

Requirements of the Outside Sales Representative

  • Education equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience.

  • Five or more years of experience in direct sales demonstrating proven solution-selling experience and complex sales process skills, along with documented results of overachieving quotas.

  • May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.

Compensation and Benefits for the Outside Sales Representative

  • Base salary $45 -$50k + uncapped Commissions 1st year targeted earnings $100k+

  • Full medical benefits

  • $.42 per mile

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
