The execution of the company's growth strategy will include a key focus and commitment to building leadership and technical capability to support our business strategy. Reporting to the Director of Leadership Development, this role is a terrific opportunity to support the growth of the world's largest vitamin and wellness products company by developing content and curriculum to accelerate learning. The Instructional Designer will create learning solutions that leverage established methods including online learning and in-person workshops. The Instructional Designer will have a strong knowledge of learning science as well as a passion for user-centered design. The Instructional Designer analyzes content, identifies target audiences and develops appropriate instructional strategies to enable customer success. The Instructional Designer creates and deliver face-to-face and webinar-based instructor led courses and will be responsible for the management of the LMS Platform.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes content, target audience, job tasks, and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies
Translate deep understanding of adult learning theory, design principles and learning technology into successful learning products
Partner with Subject Matter Experts to identify best strategies for content delivery to enhance retention and content transfer
Develops training materials including presentations, instructor and participant guides, classroom activities, practice exercises, and handouts that meet the needs of adult learners in a training environment for online and group instruction
Creates and establishes curriculum development and deployment timelines
Designs and develops assessment tools that measure mastery of course materials and evaluate ability to perform job-related tasks
Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
Decide on the criteria used to judge learners performance and develop assessment instruments
Maintain project documentation and course folders
Education, Skills, and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree
5-7 years of successful corporate-level instructional design and instructor-led training experience
Detailed knowledge of instructional design concepts, practices and procedures as well as instructional development.
Experience producing content for mobile, social and collaborative learning environments
Experience with rapid and/or web-based eLearning development tools, Adobe Captivate preferred
Demonstrated experience with game theory and building instructional gaming elements
Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
