As a Call Center Agent, you will work in our Transit headquarters in Ronkonkoma, NY.
This is a Part-time position 20 hrs per week and reports directly to the Call Center Manager.
The call center is open Monday - Saturday 7am - 5pm and Sunday 8am - 4:
30pm.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide exceptional customer service answering calls in a clear, concise and friendly manner Work cohesively with colleagues Meet needs of the caller as it pertains to bookings, cancellations, and trip verification, while following the policies and procedures of the ADA program Must always be mindful of the difficulties faced by the callers, sight impaired, hearing impaired, cognitive challenges as well as physical limitations Resolve complicated round trips Knowledge of the Long Island, NY geography Map Testing periodically throughout the year General office duties as required, data entry, accuracy REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Reliable transportation Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time Good Command of the English language Computer Skills:
