Summary:
This position is responsible for creating and releasing work orders for use in Manufacturing as well as assisting PDM with locating, printing and attaching drawings with the appropriate work orders.
Work orders generated need to maximize equipment utilization and minimize inventory in a mixed MRP/Lean environment.

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:
2 years of experience in manufacturing company with a background in fabrication Proficient in MRP and MS Office software suite, knowledge of ERP system software, preferably Visual, is a plus.
Knowledge of Crystal reports and database management is a plus.
Strong organizational skills Good administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work as an individual contributor and a team player in a multitask environment.
Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity.
Tasks /
Responsibilities:
Methodize sheet metal parts and assemblies to drawings.
Release work orders to MRP forecasted demand.
Understand scheduling and balanced work center loading.
Use of general office equipment, such as copiers and scanners.
Interface with CNC Programmers for new parts and optimized material utilization Other tasks as required.
