POSITION
Summary:
Performs duties essential to developing designs for Manufacturing.
Works under minimal supervision.
This position is responsible for designing test fixtures using SolidWorks, and creating all documentation and data associated with the task.
Responsibilities:
Designs test fixtures for manufacturing utilizing SolidWorks Assists in compliance of documentation to AE standards Interacts with manufacturers to produce manufacturable and cost-efficient parts Attends meetings to gather information, identify and implement solutions Continues to research the development of current industry technology and disseminate to other personnel Other duties as assigned WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in a manufacturing environment which can be noisy and fast-paced
Qualifications:
Proficiency in SolidWorks Must have a working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Ability to manage projects from start to finish including conformance to scheduling, and resource utilization management
Experience:
3
years of related design experience including test fixture design 1
years of experience utilizing SolidWorks EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar COMPENSATION:
As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting.
Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
